[Conference] Games Business 2015 - Dec. 7th! (+ Competition)

Unread post by SuneT » 15 Nov 2015, 15:41

Hey folks!

Here's an invitation to Denmark's largest conference for Nordic game developers - Games Business - is back this year on December 7th in Aalborg, Denmark.
Held for the fourth time in 2015, this year's edition of the conference is going to be the most fantastic Games Business ever, organized by NordicGameBits, Interactive Denmark, and Shareplay.

At Games Business 2015, we’ll discuss the future of business in the games industry, and we have invited a fantastic line-up of speakers such as Ex-King.com "Game Guru" Tommy Palm, twice Kickstarter-successful Betadwarf CEO Steffen Kabbelgaard, former Square Enix Europe International Business Development Director, Christine Thaarup, and many many more! (the last keynote speakers is still a surprise!)

And during a "Visions of the Future" panel debate moderated by none other than journalist, author, and sound designer, Jesper Krogh Kristiansen, we'll pitch 3 of the speakers together with Per Chrom-Jacobsen from Capnova, in a discussion of the viability of Virtual Reality, how emerging markets will impact the games industry in the future, and whether microconsoles such as Apple TV, and even Smartwatches, will ever be a profitable platform game developers.

You can view the full program for the day here: http://www.gamesbusiness.dk/program/

Updates:
Remember that give-away we mentioned the other day? Well, here it is - a chance to win a $1500 Pocket Gamer Connects London VIP ticket at Games Business 2015!

Interceptor Entertainment CEO, Frederik Schreiber will share his experiences from acquiring one of the most iconic developers of all time: Duke Nukem creators 3D Realms.

We love giving free stuff away, and therefore, we're going to provide all Games Business 2015 attendees with a “Localization and Monetization in the Nordic Countries” business insights report, made in collaboration between Danish startup GameAnalytics and the Games Business 2015 team.

Tickets for the conference go for 250 DKK each, and if you book yours before November 25th, you automatically enter a draw for a $1500 PocketGamer Connects London VIP ticket!
