Hej! Gennem de sidste fem år har jeg udviklet VR-spillet "Eye of the Temple", og nu bliver det udgivet om lidt. Eye of the Temple er et VR-spil til PC som udkommer d. 14. oktober i år. I spillet udforsker man et enormt tempel med sin egen krop. Man kommer rundt ved at træde fra én bevægelig stenblok...

Where did you "recruit" volunteers? Were multiple sessions of the same person usually days, weeks, or months apart?

Another way is to use the same testers over time. So they test the game as its developed. But during several sessions over time. Oh yeah, using the same testers over time is what I meant! Playtesting is why cheat codes where invented :-) You just need some shortcuts to be able to jump in the timeline and to give players whatever tool/weapon/food etc.. they need to complete that part of the game. Right, I do have such cheats to make life easier for testers, but it doesn't help with g...

Hvor er alle Feature demo videoerne henne drenge ??? De var faktisk strøet ud over de fleste af siderne på websitet indtil sidste øjeblik, men pga. problemer med vores video service provider kunne de ikke ses på de fleste browsere, så vi blev nødt til at tage dem ned. :( De kommer op igen så snart ...

Den primære/eneste grund til at bruge Flash er vel at det er så udbredt som det er. Det ser pænt ud men jeg tror jeg har en framerate på omkring 8-10 (på en 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo). Derudover ser alting pixeleret ud, specielt når cameraet bevæger sig - som om der ikke bliver brugt mip-maps eller sådan noget.

Det er skrevet på kandidaten i Multimedier, spilprogrammeringslinjen, Aarhus Universitet. Jeg ved slet ikke om den linje eksisterer længere - jeg var på den første årgang af den, hvor vi startede fem og sluttede tre.... Nope, anden og sidste årgang inden linien blev nedlagt igen havde kun én studer...
