Just simply drop using the shitty RakNet Unity stuff in the first place and swap to Photon, SmartFox or similar solution right away. Even for prototype usage. I'm curious as to why Unity's RakNet stuff is so shitty -- I'd love to hear your reasons, the main one I can think of is lack of maintenance...
