Since everyone seems to have vacated this place with real news, I thought I wanted to start a summer thread for those days that you try to stay out of the sun.
Post a little about the games you play at the moment - device doesnt matter.
For me the current list is:
World of Tanks Blitz (iPad) - fantastic adaption of the PC game (which I played WAY too much some years ago). Good interface for touch, smaller maps - can be played in 2 minute sessions, and its up to you if you want to pay or not.
Paint it Back (iPad) - I keep returning to this puzzle game for some reason even after having completed it over and over again. Give it a go if you like these kinds of puzzler
Hearthstone (Mac/iPad) - no need to say more. And now single player is out...... uh oh
Craft the World (Mac) - a lovely mix of digging, crafting, managing your dwarves and such. Somehow doesnt get as boring as Terraria or Starbound
Wanted list:
Divinity - but do I have time for it? Good question
Re: Summer Thread - what game do you play right now?
I have rediscovered the audiobook. Excellent format for digesting information hours on end without distractions. While letting you work!
Masters of Doom - David Kushner (Absolute must!)
Ninja Innovation - Gary Shapiro
If Chins Could Kill - Bruce Campbell
I Am Spock - Leonard Nimoy

I don't play that much right now, but recently I've been enjoying Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. People complain it's short and such, but I quite like its new sandbox approach. There are tons of small secrets hidden everywhere. I also like the new more action-oriented gameplay. The graphics and animations are superb as well.
Other than that, I've completed The Wolf Among Us, Among The Sleep, The Dream Machine, and Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons. I think I'll play the new episode of The Walking Dead soon.

I spend most of my time crunching on The Silent Age Episode 2 these days. It's summer now isn't it? That would explain the sudden rise in temperature inside my windowless crunching dungeon.
Anyways, I've just completed Dark Souls 2, which has kept me occupied for the last two and a half months. I'm a hardcore Dark Souls fan, and I've enjoyed every moment of it.
I also tried to play Braid, but I found it utterly boring.
I have no gaming plans for the future - other than playing Jonas' new mobile game.

I have been playing Alcazar on my phone, which I find quite fun.
And I have been playing a lot of board games, I have fallen a bit in love with Agricola.
I might try The Silent Age, but I have really mixed feelings about point-and-click games in general.

Reasons not to give The Silent Age a shot = 0
They really have taken the shitty parts out of the point and click formula more or less. And the result is a game that has a really nice flow. Gemini Rue also does a nice job at that.
In contrast to adventure games from the past.. when stuck. You would have a tendency to go a brute force your way through. Resulting in endless clicking around trying out all combinations with a myriad of inventory objects. That was horrible game design.

When I finally have the time to play games... I really don't play them at the moment, even though I collected tons of games at the latest steam summersale
Instead I've been working on this in my spare time:

When it's ready
Actually, it sparked a lot of interest on reddit, so it has become a more serious project now. I'll post more serious updates when more has been done it on

I have allmost avoided the sun for 3 weeks now - but without playing something special 8-)
But instead I had used some of my valuable spare time on a little 2.5D platformer prototype - mostly for fun.
Sorry for the lag in the video.
Theres none in the original.

I have tried The Silent Age episode 1 and was actually liked it.
I still spend a lot of time clicking at random objects - it took me half an hour to cut a rope that has glass shards laying next to it
But I think the "time" mechanic gave some pretty nice game play. I will play second episode when I find the time.
