the cost of the study trip: DKK13125 for SME

Unread post by Heidi Hui Yan » 14 Jan 2009, 07:11

These days I got emails asking for different questions, many of them are want to know more about the price of the trip, here I answer it in the forum:

Most gaming companies are SME (small and medium size company), which means the company is less than 50 employees, then you can apply an Innovation Package from the Danish Ministry of Forein Affairs http://www.eksportstart.dk. Then the total cost of the trip is going to be DKK 13125. It is going to cover all the expense in China including 4-5 stars hotel, accomodation, foods, local transportation, registration for the event, exbihition and local export support from Innovation Center and the TCDC (Trade Council Denmark, China). Of course, the only addition thing you need to pay is your international ticktes (about DKK6000).

In the time of global crisis, China is influenced less than the others, also statistics have already shown that entertainment relavant activities are increasing, particularily the cheap entertainment, like computer or online gaming. Innovation Center would like very help Danish companies find these potential oppotunity and get access to the development of the industry/market. We work together with the Chinese government, put a lot effort including capital, resource, and man hour to build the project. It is a great opportunit for those gaming companies who have never been to China, to take the chance to build your first contact, knowledge and find your future business. I am sure when you are put into animantion/game industry park, you will be amazed---like in another planet.

Feel free to pop up me questions by skype (dolphinsurfing), or MSN (dolphinsurfing@hotmail.com)

A yesterday's news: China's online gaming industry sees rapid growth
The iResearch Consulting Group recently estimated that China's total value of online games exports in 2008 exceeded US $100 million. Compared to the online games exported in 2007 that valued US $55 million, the amount has almost doubled. Although the effects of the global financial crisis are currently spreading, China's online gaming industry's exports are still growing rapidly. For a long time, China has been in a disadvantaged position in the field of international cultural communications, but China's online gaming industry since its inception has been a completely market-oriented cultural industry. The online gaming industry has seen the fastest growth in exports among all cultural industries over the past several years.
