Interview on the Nordic Game Jam blog: Anders Leicht Rohde on the Game Jam Experience
In order to provide some insider insight on what participating in the Nordic Game Jam is like, we have talked with Anders Leicht Rohde, who have participated in the Nordic Game Jam for the last several years.
Anders is 28 years old and is living in Aarhus, Denmark. He’s married and have a masters in multimedia and computer game design. He works as a creative director, producer and game designer at Krea Medie A/S where he is primarily working on popular Nordic childrens’ games such as Pixeline, Hugo, and Magnus & Myggen. Anders says that his work is very diverse, ranging from writing game design documents, level designing, high level designing, producing, project managing and writing manuscripts for the games.
What was your experience like when you participated in the Nordic Game Jam 2010?
In NGJ 2009 me and the same team did a game called “Make my head grow”, which we had some success with. In 2010 we wanted to do a game that was even better. Unfortunately we focused a bit too much on getting success and a bit too little on doing a great game. (...)
