Playwood Project has updated their demo of their upcoming title Successor, with a time limited Halloween special, Marsh of the Dead!

Back at the now long gone 3BGamez we made a demo for game called DrugDEAler, it was never released.
And later on the Agent Hugo games at ITE. RenderWare was the goto off the shelf PS2 engine at the time.

Well well well!

Looks like the team at Biodomes Games are returning to their roots! Their unannounced game looks like something VERY much in the Chase Ace (Deluxe) / Chase Ace 2 family of games.

I love how Peter Holm and Tobias Thorsen yet again returns to where their hearts lies. <3 <3

Also had chat with them not too long ago. Suggested they should get the old games on GOG. But so far it has yet to materialize and is not something you should count on. I guess they are very busy with the new thing. Also it would probably be a massive undertaking to bring the old games up to a playable standard from such an old code base. The ROI would not make much sense.

Anyways! Suuuuper awesome to see they are giving the dream another wack!

This is following mobile, and console releases earlier, originating back to 2018.
So the project is still going strong!
Personally not following the web games very closely but Poki seems to be a large player in the field.

Sometimes small solo indie projects project just goes crazy! Be mindful this is a very rare case.

The video talks about Chill Quarium that launched on the same day as Starfield and made a relative success from Steam page exposure. It is also a different audience from the regular scifi geeks.
Our own Danish developed Void Crew from Hutlihut was launched the day JUST AFTER Starfield and did a good launch everything taken into consideration. That was super scary in my book!
There is more of target audience overlap here with Void Crew and Starfield compared to a 2D chill aquarium game. But it is an interesting comparison nonetheless.
Besides Void Crew got really good Steam reviews! 91%+ positive! Man that's awesome! Happy players is a really good foundation!
I'm guesstimating they have sold around 70K copies to date. So they certainly have something to build on. They are off to a good start!

DK Niila Games is working on a new title called TagTime. Sadly the Steam page is not yet available in Denmark.

But with a little creativity I was able to view the Steam page anyways. (Using the Tor network in the Brave browser)
