Hi all,

We, Dajana Dimovska, Alexandra Mariner and Nevin Eronde, are three female game developers from the Danish games industry and all Board members of the Danish Chapter of International Game Developers Association (IGDA.dk). You can read our CV’s below:

* Dajana Dimovska is producer and co-founder of the Copenhagen Game Productions ApS http://dk.linkedin.com/in/dimovska
* Alex Mariner is freelance graphic artist and event coordinator
http://dk.linkedin.com/pub/alexandra-mariner/7/426/51a
* Nevin Eronde is freelance audio designer for games

IGDA DK has recently launched Special Interest Groups in different categories such as Audio Design, Game Design, Business Development and Pervasive Games. The Special Interest Groups are informal meetings for students and professionals and any other people with a keen interest in games development. We have speakers from the industry that talk about projects they are working on or topics that they think are important to bring into an industry matter.

Female game developers are still a minority in the industry and we would therefore like to hear if there is an interest in starting a Women In Games Special Interest Group [WIG SIG]. The WIG SIG is highly popular in other Chapters of IGDA and we would like to know if there is an interest for doing the same here in Denmark.

Some of the topics that we would like to talk about and discuss are:

* Game design for female target groups
* Female gamers
* Women in the games industry (sharing experiences, success stories, etc.)
* Game design and/or business issues

It is also important to say that the WIG SIG is not for females only - we DO encourage males to participate!

If you have an interest in this event - please answer the survey below and give us feedback:

If you are interested in joining the WIG SIG and the mailing list - please email Dajana at dd@igda.dk

Best regards,
Dajana, Alex and Nevin
