3D Course in Blender

Unread post by Sylvester » 14 Jan 2011, 14:03

Hi people,
I'm posting this for a friend who's arranging a Blender course. Spread the word!

Blender Course

Do you have experience with 3D and would you like to learn Blender, then this is a course for you.

From 31th of January until the 4th February 2011 you will have the opportunity to participate in a week of intense Blender course.

The course will focus on the following topics:
  • Modelling
    Rigging
    Animation
    Texturing / shading
    Lighting
Game Engine, if there is time

The course is more a shift to Blender, rather than an introduction to the different 3D tools. To participate it is required that you already have knowledge about 3D.

All participants must before the course have developed a design on a character or object which they will work with through the course.
It is also required that before the start of the course you make yourself acquainted with Blender, in the sense that you downloaded the program, opened it and seen the following movie:

"Introduction To The interface"
The film can be found at this link:
http://www.Blender.org/education-help/tutorials/

The teacher is William Rayninsh who has plenty of experience with Blender. He was animation director on Big Buck Bunny, animated on Sintel and have made several Blender workshops.

Practical information:

The price to attend is 500 DKK.
There will be computer, coffee and tea available.
If you are interested, please sign up as soon as possible. Unfortunately we have only 13 places available.
Registration and questions sent to Boriskenneth@gmail.com

The course is held at:

Kasernevej 5
8800 Viborg

Sincerely,

Kenneth
