IGDA DK presents in collaboration with PROSA:
Game Design Special Interest Group meeting on 5th of September
Eske Knudsen from Serious Games Interactive - http://www.seriousgames.dk and Alexandra Mariner from FunRigger Productions http://www.funrigger.com/ are the driving forces behind the Game Design Special Interest Group. They will start this series of fun and experimenting Game Design meetings with a participatory debate-style event inspired by Local No.12's Metagame: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/209 ... local-no12.
The metagame that Eske and Alexandra has customized especially for this meeting is called: The Ultimate Metagame Duel: Art vs The World! Take part in a lively discussion on game design topics in the form of an epic duel format where different topics and paradigms are pitted against each other. No special skills required - let’s drink some beers and battle!
What: The Ultimate Metagame Duel: Art vs The World!
When: 5th of September 2011 at 19:00 - 21:00
Where: PROSA, Vester Farimagsgade 37A, 1606 København V
After the meta game battle we will go to Ørsted Ølbar for a cold brew - http://oerstedoelbar.dk/
Any questions - feel free to mail Nevin Eronde at ne@igda.dk

Game Design SIG meeting on 5th of September
Re: Game Design SIG meeting on 5th of September
Bam! a reminder!
And also some news! We are going to start this Mondays event with a few super short lightning talks where a few people show their latest prototypes. It could be some jam prototypes, commercial games, or just something fun weird. We will try to have a few of these lightning talks for every event in the future, so if you have anything to showcase please let me know.
Oh and we are still planning to have some cold brew after the event Plenty of reasons to join.
