ABOUT
Games have become increasingly important in the entertainment industry over the last 30 years and they now compete with TV and movies. There are non-traditional structures in seasoned disciplines like cinema and literature, but what happens if we try to find unconventional ways of intertwining stories and games?

How do you tell a story when you can’t control the player’s experience, and how do you tell a story across platforms? How do you write the interactive experience, and what challenges arise when connecting story and gameplay?

These themes, and many more, will be central in this year's seminar about telling stories in games and related media.

Play & Tell takes place at the Cinematek in Copenhagen on November 21st 2013. This is the 9th annual games seminar, and just like the other years we hope to see a lot of game developers, scholars, game students, film producers, directors, writers, etc

Organizers: Play & Tell is organized by MEDIA Desk Denmark, the computer games education DADIU and Interactive Denmark.

We look forward to seeing you there!
