Getting the deal through
The term Sheet - or the terms of your business deals - has great impact on the strategy you are executing, which is why it needs a great deal of attention. At this Growing Games workshop we have teamed up with the lawyers from Horten to present “business application of legal stuff”. With the assistance of Thomas Lund from Full Control and Tim Shepherd from Chroma-Studios you will be guided through the pitfalls of deal making.

Our line-up for this workshop consist of both practitioners and experts as you will see the following people on stage:
  • *Hans Abildstrøm, certified IT Lawyer and partner at Horton will guide you through the basics of getting the best deal. Hans has advised on video games since 1996 and has been at the forefront of the market and the legal challenges ever since.
  • *Christian Kragelund, lawyer at Horten is leading up Horten’s division on trademarks, and knows his way around how to best protect your ideas through trademarks
  • *Thomas Lund, founder and CEO at Full Control. Through his career Thomas has worked in several startups in management positions. He's got experience running a large game studio and striking deals with both investors, and co-producers, and licensing IP. He knows his way around a term sheet.
  • *Tim Shepherd, CEO and founder at Chroma Studios. With previous experience running game development abroad he is now heading up Chroma-Studio recently securing CAPNOVA investment for their game project Click, Click, BOOM!
At this workshop your company strategy will be put to the test. You will be challenged to see how your company and product strategy are connected. From a legal perspective you will be introduced to how term sheets and contracts shape your strategy – all from the inspiration of both lawyers and experienced game CEOs.
