Lots of nice updates to the UNIGINE engine.

Never seen a DK production made with it though. Or anywhere else where it was the advertised engine to my remembrance.
Also it's mostly focused on simulation purposes and Windows and Linux delivery only. Probably shouldn't be high on your pick list for your next game project all things taken into consideration.

But great to see neat tech is happening in more places regardless!

Seems like it's going forward for Inkscape (Illustrator like, but FOSS)

Haven't tried 1.3. Previous versions always felt.. well very 'FOSSY' and a bit janky down to simple UI interaction. Just missing that great feel from more commercial packages. Blender is one of the few FOSS packages that has escaped that feel.
But great to see stuff is happening!

IDA (Danish Society of Engineers) has filed a police report on MovieStarPlanet for violating rules regarding mass layoffs earlier this year.

The short article can be summarized with the following
- In the spring, the gaming company Moviestarplanet conducted a comprehensive round of layoffs.
- The labor union IDA believes that the layoff violated the rules for collective redundancies.
- IDA subsequently reported the company to the police.
- IDA's chief negotiator, Anders Thrane Niebuhr, emphasizes that reporting to the police is not standard practice, but they felt there was no possibility for negotiation in this case.
- IDA does not wish to disclose the specific demands they have raised against Moviestarplanet.
- Version2 attempted to contact the company's CEO and HR manager without success.
- The exact number of employees fired is not publicly known, but according to Version2's information, it is approximately half of the workforce, equivalent to around 39 people.
