Hi All

We're ready to roll out another Growing Games workshop. This time aimed at you, who have just started or are contemplating starting a games company.

Growing Games: Getting started in the Games industry
What does it take to get started in the games industry?

Are you considering or have you already started a company working in the games industry? Then this event is for you. Over the course of 3,5 hours, we will cover the most important basics in getting your new company up and running, and how to secure the best possible chances for survival.

Meet other developers in the same situation, and get advice from experts and veteran developers.

Speakers:

Lasse Sørensen, Business Consultant at Copenhagen Business Hub.
Will talk about the start-up mindset, with exercises and talk about the importance of mentality and attitude plays in startups.

Michael Flarup, CEO of NorthPlay.
Is going to tell us about the importance of business models, and the different way you can make money in the games industry

Riley Andersen, CEO of Umami Games
Participating in a similar event 2 years ago, Riley will tell us about her journey since then, and what she would have liked know two years ago

Søren Lass, Independant consultant
Will talk about the road to the first publisher contract or investment, and what you can do as a first-time developer to convince them to invest in you

We're now ready to take sign-ups for the online edition of the event.

Due to corona-restrictions and the degree of interest in the event, it will also be offered as an online event on Zoom.
