Posted: 06 Aug 2009, 09:23
The Center for Computer Games Research (game.itu.dk) and the Media Technology and Games study line at the IT University (itu.dk/mtg) are happy to announce Play Day, a celebration of the games produced by the students of the MTG line. Play Day is an open doors event that will take place at the IT University, August 27th, from 14:00 to 20:00.
The students of the MTG study line design, develop and produce a number of game demos, prototypes and even full games as a part of their education. These games, which are the basis for examination and evaluation, are going to be the focus point of Play Day. The games developed by the students of the MTG line will be showcased and presented by the students that developed them, and everybody is welcome to come around and play them. All visitors will get to play the showcased games.
If you want to check out what is being developed in the most innovative academic environments, come to Play Day at the IT University. All made by ITU students, all available during Play Day.
The idea of Play Day is to open the doors of the ITU to anyone who is interested in seeing and playing the games produced by our students. The ITU will be hosting this public display of games, as well as other game related festive events. So if you want to know what kind of games the Media Technology and Games are capable of doing, come and play, Thursday August 27th, from 14:00 at the IT University of Copenhagen.
The doors are open for the general public between 14 and 17. Members of the game industry are welcome to join us from 17 to 20 – we are working on an afterparty, so stay tuned!
