Keynote sessions set to lift Nordic Game to new heights
The organisers of Nordic Game 2008 proudly announce four keynote presentations that are guaranteed to lift the roof off the conference centre in Malmö, Sweden.

While the conference core program will offer in-depth, specialist content for games professionals, the four keynote sessions are to inspire and entertain both the industry and the press with a line up that represents some of most interesting happenings in gaming today.

”Putting the Pieces in Play” will spotlight the LEGO Star Wars and Indiana Jones titles and feature the creative teams behind these mega-hits. Also called ”It takes a lot of special people to make a game”, this keynote will take the audience behind the scenes with the project team and include special “making of” material and previews of new work. The presentation will be hosted by Jonathan Smith, Traveller’s Tales.

”Stories about Stories” or ”How videogames adapt, subvert and destroy traditional narrative” and ”How the stories we tell can be the best in the world”, will feature some great storytellers making games today. Presented by Ste Curran of Edge, Resonance FM and Zöe Mode fame, ”Stories about Stories” will weave together a though-provoking and entertaining tapestry of stories, performance and song about the meaning of narrative.

“We ROCK you” - The creators of Rock Band will gather live on stage, featuring Rob Kay and Ryan Lesser from Harmonix with special guests and surprises galore…

“Northern Lights” will bring some of the Nordic region’s most influential game developers together with the industry giants they work with to identify and examine the special qualities that the ‘Northern Lights’ offer in a highly competitive global games industry. The discussion will be moderated by John Minkley, Eurogamer TV.
