Nordic Game Jam 2010 expands

Nordic Game Jam is happy to announce that this year the sign ups have broken previous years records. The total amount of participants has already reached 250. The Nordic Game Jam Committee has therefore decided to extend the headcount with 25 more seats - so hurry if you want to join us! For sign up please go to: http://igda.dk/nordic-game-jam/

Here is a short update on the coming events:

1. The Nordic Game Jam will be opened by Carina Christensen, Danish Minister of Culture
2. Peter Molyneux, European Creative Director for Microsoft Games will be keynoting the Nordic Game Jam in person at the ITU in Copenhagen.
3. The Nominees for the Best New Nordic Talent will be found at the Nordic Game Jam 2010. The winner, to be picked among those nominees, will be announced at the Nordic Game Conference later in 2010.
4. The indie luminares Nifflas, Cactus and Petri from Sweden and Finland will be joining the game jam. Cactus will additionally give a talk on Friday afternoon the 29th.
5. Once again, the Nordic Game Jam will be the flagship of the Global Game Jam. Join 110+ other locations across the world for a weekend of fun, creative game making!

Like last year, we have teamed up with a number of sponsors to be able to make this event as enjoyable and fun for you as possible. So far our Primary Sponsors are Microsoft, Nordic Game Program and NOGAP. Thanks a lot to them and our program sponsors for their help in making this event possible.
