Serious Games Interactive seeks a fulltime experienced backend programmer to be part of our growing company with several new projects in the pipeline. You will be joining a team of +10 other talented programmers. Your main responsibility will be to develop different backends for our games including multiplayer network enabled turn-based and realtime games. You must be able to grow with the tasks as our company and productions expand.

Who are you?
• Independent, systematic and structured
• Experience designing system architecture and scalable solutions
• Expert in PHP with an in-depth knowledge of its performance and security challenges.
• Experienced in relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB) and their performance.
• Knowledge of denormalization, and where to apply it.
• Knowledge of Perl, Python, and Bash scripting a plus.
• Knowledge of a statically typed, compiled language such as C, C++ or Go a plus.
• Experience with JSON, XML, JSON-RPC.
• +3 year relevant working experience.

About Serious Games interactive
We develop computer games with an agenda that goes beyond entertainment this includes computer games and simulations for a variety of areas. We primarily work in Unity3D one of the industry’s leading game engine. We have been using Unity3d for more than seven years, which made us the first studio worldwide to take on the new technology. We have done multiple cross-platform projects including Android and IOS, and are certified for Xbox and Wii. We work with companies like Opel, Maersk, Siemens, Lego

Team: Currently we are 30 people.
Place: Copenhagen, Bopa Plads, Østerbro (close to Nordhavn St).
