Each user customizes an animated virtual MovieStar avatar which can be used to make small cartoons, chat and play games with other MovieStars. MovieStarPlanet was launched in Denmark in 2009. Today we have launched the site in 9 countries and have more than 7 million registered users. We are among the largest sites for the age group in Europe and we are still growing rapidly. We are currently 28 employees, 11 full-time and 17 part-time. We are located at 5te at ITU.
About the job:
We are looking for a talented full-time project manager / producer to join our team of talented developers and artists. Your job will be to manage the development of new features in our game. This includes writing specifications of new features, managing the production of these, including keeping track of time schedules and release dates. The job also includes testing that features have been implemented according to specifications and that they meet the level of quality desired. The job involves working closely together with the development team, which consists of 5 programmers, 4 graphics artists and a game developer.
About you:
You must have at least a few years of experience as a project manager / producer, managing a cross-disciplinary team (programmers and artists), preferably using the Scrum model. You must have good communication skills and be very structured and well organized. You must be very ambitious and able to work independently. You can document good results from your education and from your career. If you have experience with game development it is a plus. If you are very creative and a good games designer it is also a plus.
