Playdead looking for game programmers

Playdead is expanding. We are looking for talented game programmers to work on the ambitious follow-up project to Limbo - our highly successful debut title.

As a game programmer at Playdead, your main responsibility is to assist the gameplay designers in prototyping game mechanics, such as new enemies or puzzle mechanisms. Also, you will be expected to implement features for more advanced game systems such as camera and path-finding systems. Finally, you need to be passionate about games and interested in what qualities ultimately make the game fun.

You will become part of a production which has a flat leadership structure in an artistic, creative and highly ambitious environment. We expect you, like the rest of the team, to perform pro-actively and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities include
- Implementation and design of intriguing game mechanics.
- Animation systems for the protagonist as well as NPCs.
- AI and path-finding solutions.
- Camera systems.

Qualifications
- Interest in gameplay and making it fun!
- Experience with professional game development.
- Strong knowledge of object oriented programming such as C# / C++.
- Strong math skills (linear algebra, trigonometry, etc.)
- Experience with Unity a plus.
