Unity Technologies is looking for an Asset Server Developer.

The position is open for a highly qualified and motivated professional who is ready to make a significant contribution to expanding the leading game development tool provider for high-end web 3D, online, MMO, and mobile games. In this developer role you will be working on extending the company's existing Asset Server product and report to the Asset Store Manager.

Goals and responsibilities:
- Maintaining the server back end and installers for Linux, Mac OSX and Windows.
- Implementing support for branching and merging of projects.
- Creating a plug-in service for backing up existing projects
- Optimize the communication between server and client in order to reduce the number of round trips

Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate strong design and development skills (C/C++/C#).
- Experience in database design and development using PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of configuration management and modern version control systems. Actual experience in implementing version control systems is an advantage.
- A Computer Science or related technical degree is preferred.
