Apex looking for Game Programmers

You have a passion for making great games and you like to be part of a small team where you will be involved in all types of programming tasks. You will primarily work on our games, but you are open to also be involved in other programming tasks during some periods. You take pride in delivering quality code by testing and debugging before handing your work over.

Requirements:
  • At least a few years of experience with programming games
  • Good at translating the game designer's vision into fun gameplay
  • Good understanding of usability issues in games
  • Experience with working closely with 2D/3D artists, audio designers, etc. getting assets into the game
  • Strong in debugging and delivering solid quality code
Advantages:
  • Completed at least one larger (12+ months) game production from beginning to end
  • Experience using a 3D game engine or framework including level editing tools
  • Experience with C# and programming for the Unity3D engine
  • Experience developing character based 3D games
  • Experience programming physics, AI, camera control, GUI, character animation control, input handling, ...
  • Experience with agile development methods (e.g. SCRUM)
  • Experience working with automated testing solutions
  • Experience programming multiplayer games and/or network (client/server solutions)
We’re a small team, though able to produce great games by using an agile and compact pipeline, Rapid Prototyping and Continuous Integration.
