Unread post by klandestin » 31 Aug 2012, 15:08

PortaPlay is presently working on a quirky drawn style 3D multiplatform children game / interactive storytelling project for internationally distributed multiplatform IP.

We are looking for gifted animation artists, who are interested in pushing the borders for 3D animation and expressions within the Unity game engine boundaries.

The project
The project is still in the pre-development phase and are mostly "un-proven ground", meaning that we will rely heavily on prototyping and iterative processes. –and this is where we need you!
We are often combining tech in odd ways, to create new user experiences, so be prepared to "boldly go where no man has gone before" (or woman).

Your tasks
Your work will center around experimenting with new ways of creating animations, which conceptually unite the animation series and the game. -helping us create an artistic vision and a setup, that makes the film and game comes together visually - communicating the same universe, while telling different stories on each media.

The formalia
The position is temporary, starting from 1. october with a duration of around 3 months.
The salary is fixed in accordance to the “spilstøtteordning standards”.

About us
PortaPlay is an indie-development company, residing on Pilestræde. We are mainly working with co-development of new IP / interactive entertainment for existing IP's. We are working mostly with mobile, tablets and web platforms, doing both "classic games", ARG's, experimental projects and commercial infrastructure solutions.
On a daily basis, we are cooperating - and hanging out with KnapNok Games and the “Conlan’s Claim” guys (now changed to “Unclaimed Worlds”), as well as a lot of non-game media companies such as DR, TV2, Klasse Film, Gyldendal, Die Asta Experience, SRL Architects and many others.
