Unity FX artist/programmer for Space Hulk

Opportunity of a lifetime!

Full Control is looking for a ultra dedicated and skilled FX artist/programmer for our Space Hulk production.

We will consider freelancers, students, part timers or project employable people. Depending on who you are, the work can be performed part time from "now" and until summer. Or alternatively full time from March and 3-4 months forward.

The task: to create visual effects using Unity all over the game. From dust puffs when doors open over skin shaders on Terminator faces to liquid promethium dripping from the heavy flamer and burning in the corridors

The more of the effects pipeline you can do yourself the better. Your task is primarily to take these types of workload off the other artists.

Preference will be given to:
- 40k and/or Space Hulk fanboys
- freelancers/project employable people over students unless said student is ultra skilled.

You MUST:
- be able to work in our offices in Spilhuset in Copenhagen
- be able to work in an english speaking environment
- have proven experience with Unity effects / shaders
- you must send us examples of your work. No portfolio - no work
- be able to create the highest level of quality possible. And prove you can
- implement your work all the way on your own. Meaning you have to do both the art and the implementation
- be able to work dedicated and take the initiative into your own hands. If you need micromanagement - then dont apply

Secondary skills we would love you to have (and possibly qualify you for a permanent job):
- level design (pretty up levels with props, light + possibly design new levels)
- create realistic and hardcore themed textures (diffuse, normal, spec map)
- ability to 3d model environment props in Max
- create small animations in the environment either in Max or Unity

We can offer:
- a paid job based on your level of experience
- be part of a Warhammer 40k production (and naturally be credited for your work)
- work in a pro team
