Press Play is looking for a student worker (15 hours per week) to start as soon as possible.

Your job will be to taking some of the practical work load off the hands of the studio directors. In the position, we will expect you to cover two areas: daily business paperwork and assisting in planning, budgeting and reporting.

Daily business paperwork
As a small studio in a large organization, we do have a lot of paperwork and requirements to meet whenever we buy things or services. You will be the “go-to guy” for the team whenever they have questions in this area. Possibly you will start your time with Press Play with a few days with the Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen’s admin staff to get introduced to systems and policies.

Budgeting and reporting
Press Play is run by three studio directors and a part of your job will be to take some load off their hands with the budgeting and reporting processes we have. You should have a good understanding for both numbers and business -maybe even entertainment business. You should have very solid Excel skills and be able to read financial reports (and understand them).

Who are you?
We expect you to be few years into your education, but also at least one and a half year from graduating. Maybe you are from a business school, maybe from the IT University? It goes without saying that it is an advantage if you play and like games – but we are not looking for someone with “game development ambitions” here. It is an administrative job and we look to hire administrative skills.

Press Play is an award winning game development studio located in central Copenhagen. We develop video games for smartphones, tablets and consoles. We are around 20 people, almost exclusively development staff. The studio was acquired by Microsoft in 2012.
