We’re currently 5 engineers working on our web and iOS products but we need more bright developers – especially on the mobile product. As iOS developer, you will work closely with leadership in the Product and Technology teams to develop one of the best iOS apps in the world. The successful candidate will be an experienced Objective-C developer and have a keen interest in joining the fast-paced start-up lifestyle. S/he will have led the development of at least one iOS app that they can show the Fitbay team. They will have a strong technical background with good product flair. People interested in senior iOS developer positions should also have a proven track record of managing large teams through complex projects.
The position is the perfect “fit” for a people who have completed a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in computer science or software development, or have extensive work-related Objective-C experience. The position is full time and is based in Copenhagen.

Responsibilities:
• Development of Objective-C solutions
• Responsible for all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications – perform hands-on architecture, design and development of systems
• Potential to give substantial input on the product including UI and UX design
• Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
• Help drive consistent development practices – tools & common components
• Fitbay provides the opportunity to build team management experience in both the short and long term, if the candidate wishes
Skills and experience:
• 3+ years of Objective-C development experience
• Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns and Agile Methodologies.
• Experience with RESTful web services, Javascript as well as a server-side language e.g. PHP
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies
• Strong interest in developing innovative software with a passion for solving complex problems
