The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation - School of Design is looking for a game programming teacher for the spring 2015 semester.

We are a small education with a good teaching team and some motivated students. And we would love to work with you!

This is a part-time position with start in February 2015. Hours as negotiated.

We have just restructured our game program to focus on making the students develop and experiment with games throughout their education, while learning about game design and game studies theory, as well as learning from the other creative educations at KADK. Our students take part in the DADIU productions as visual artists.

For this we are looking for a great game programmer for teaching and supporting students in their projects.

Preferred skills:
-Broad experience with Unity and preferably other game development tools
-Experience with different platforms, including touch screen and web
-An interest in developing and expanding our game education
-Interest in following and reading up on current game design and production methods
-An understanding of the graphical production pipeline of both small and large game development projects

Bonus skills:
-Experience teaching programming to non-programmers
-Mastery of game design and game production methods
-Game design experience
-Visual design experience
-Interaction design

The school teaches video game design and development on both Bachelor and Masters (kandidat) level.

Classes can be taught in either Danish or English, depending on teacher and students.

The Danish Design School at KADK is located at Holmen in Copenhagen, just behind the opera and next to the Film School and School of Architecture.

Please contact Jesper Juul, jjuul@kadk.dk if you are interested or with any questions. Thanks!
