CPH Game Lab is hirering: UX and graphic designer
Posted: 12 Apr 2017, 22:12
EDIT April 18th: We have currently received enough applications, and sadly we don't have bandwith to sort through more. Thank you very much for your interest!
Are you a creative person? Do you think visually, and do you love games? Well, then maybe you are our new UX and graphic designer!
Copenhagen Game Lab makes learning games for everyone from 3 to 90. Although learning games are a relatively new industry, we are doing really well, and we are enjoying our position as first movers. We seldom work on the same projects for longer than a couple of months, which means that our jobs are very varied. And we love what we do! Check out our website if you want to know more: http://www.cphgamelab.dk.
About you:
Ideally, you have a degree in graphics or similar. You are used to working with wireframes, digital layouts, flowcharts and user journeys. However, we find that experience is not as important as the willingness to learn, as well as a solid sense of aesthetics along with the ability to understand the user’s point of view. As long as you are passionate about what you do!
You must be a proficient user of Photoshop, Illustrator or similar programmes, and you should take it upon yourself to always stay updated on the latest trends in UX for web and games. You are interested in understanding game mechanics, and in getting the whole picture.
The position is for four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). If you are interested in putting in fever hours than that, we are open for negotiations.
If you are interested, do not hesitate to write to Sanne Harder - sanne@cphgamelab.dk. You should include a description of yourself and your interest in games and digital art, as well as examples of your work - digital or otherwise.
We look forward to hearing from you!
