Khora is an award-winning Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality production studio, creating cutting-edge content within multiple application areas. We are 20 full-time employees, and over the last four years, we have produced more than 300 VR/AR applications and hosted more than 800 workshops and events. We are exploring the value potential of VR and AR through meaningful collaborations and partnerships. We work within multiple industries, with a deep understanding of the technologies and of how and why businesses and institutions should work within these emerging mediums.

We are seeking a new colleague for the position as a Unity Generalist. You will be responsible for building applications for VR and AR on mobile, PC, and MAC, based on the Unity framework. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement functionality translating project ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging application. A commitment to collaborative, dynamic problem solving, and an outgoing approach are essential.

  • Work with Unity scene management, lighting and shader graph.
    Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in C#
    Working closely with 3D artists and project managers to establish an effective pipeline and have a well-optimized application.
    Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
    Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.
    Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Excellent knowledge of Unity
    Excellent knowledge of C#
    Experience with game physics and VFX graph
    Experience with Shader Graph
    Experience with mobile, PC and Mac development
    Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving VR and AR standards and development technologies
    Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
    Strong understanding of Unity shaders and Unity Universal Render Pipeline
    Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
    Excellent knowledge of code versioning tools such as GIT
Plusses if you:
  • Have experience with 3D and animation
    Have prior experience with VR and AR
    2-3 years of working experience
    Have experience with Xcode
    Have experience with Spark AR
    Have experience with ECS
    Hold a master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
