Gameplay Programmer at Mrs. Wordsmith
We are seeking a skilled Gameplay Programmer to join our small tight knit studio in Copenhagen.

The studio
The founding principle of the studio is to combine learning with state of the art game development. There is no reason that learning can not be embedded in a fantastic game experience.

The team
The Word Tag team is made up of around 10 passionate game developers. It is a healthy mix of young and experienced talent. Each member is extremely talented in their field and all of them are super nice. The team size also means that each member has a large impact on the game. The hierarchy of the team is shallow and the decision makers are highly accessible.

The position
For this role we are looking for a person with excellent technical skills, a deep understanding of game mechanics and a passion for getting the feel of a feature just right. You are probably playing a lot of games in your spare time.

The feature development process of Word Tag is very much a collaborative effort where your input will have a significant impact on the resulting feature.

Salary is competitive including a pension scheme. While our offices are nice it is your decision if you prefer to work from home.

Skills and experiences
2+ years of experience, ideally from mobile games development
Strong C#/ .NET knowledge
Unity experience
Well founded in math, algorithms and data structures
Comfortable with Git
Solid understanding of programming best practices

Mrs Wordsmith takes culture seriously. We believe in fun - it is core to everything we do. We believe it leads to the best educational outcomes for our favourite customers - kids! We value effective teamwork, collaboration, and autonomy - fundamentally we know the best people to make the decisions are those closest to the problem and we encourage this across the company. We value creativity, endless curiosity and encourage our teams to respectfully challenge the work and each other for a better output. Above all we value diversity - in whatever form that may manifest - our creative output is stronger for it.
Benefits
30 days annual leave - comprised of 25 days annual leave plus 5 days feriefridage
Danish public holidays including 24th - 31st December
Pension contribution
The opportunity to contribute to the business in an exciting growth phase
