Unread post by Interactive_Denmark » 11 Jun 2019, 14:56

Hi all

As part of the latest newsletter from Interactive Denmark, we also collected the gamedev events taking place this month. So here's you event calendar for this month :)

June 13
Appconomy conference
How do you choose the right monetisation strategy and just as important how do you go about the life cycle of apps?

The conference Appconomy sheds light on user behaviour, eco-systems and monetisation strategies known from games with the purpose of discussing WHAT does & doesn’t work, WHY that is and HOW other mobile services and apps in general might benefit from game mechanics and alike to strengthen revenue streams.

To present us with insights, experiences & data (and break it to pieces), we have invited Fraser MacInnes from Scopely, Danielle Cohen from IronSource, Phillip Black from EA Games and Farhan Haq from SYBO Games.

When: June 13th, 9:30 - 14:00
Where: Heimat studio, Vestergade 49, Aarhus Denmark

June 18
Information meeting - "Univers" funding support
In 2019, under the heading "Univers", the Danish Film Institute is conducting a call for the development and production of cross-media projects for children. The purpose of the "Univers" is to promote the production of quality content for children, published in several formats or on multiple platforms, and to combine narratives in traditional formats with narratives in new formats.

At this information meeting, you will be introduced to the new initiative, and have the opportunity to ask questions about it as well.

When: June 18th, 15:00 - 16:00
Where: The Danish Film Institute, Gothersgade 55, 1123 København K.

No signup required. More info here

June 19
Business Development in the Cultural Sector
Creative Europe Desk Denmark's EU theme will this year focus on business development and access to finance in the cultural sector.

In recent years, discussions on business models have filled a lot in the European cultural sector and there has been an increased focus on financial sustainability and adaptation to market conditions. It creates challenges: how can the needs of the market be met without compromising on values and integrity? And how is culture valued at all in a business context?

When: June 19th, 12:00 - 17:30
Where: Bio ASTA, Cinemateket, Gothersgade 55, 1123 København K

Participation is free, but registration is mandatory and must be completed no later than June 17th. More info and full program here

Have a great month
