A shot from @Malte_Burup upcoming 'Retrofuturistic psychiatry simulator' (co office guy). I may have prodded him along to show stuff to the world.
Haven't played this latest iteration of the concept yet. Played an earlier iteration. It wasn't totally there at the time and it was scrapped. But I have high hopes for this latest incarnation.
And it seems things are going very well for out other basement co-office dwellers at Triband.
What the golf was recently featured in a high profile Apple Arcade Ad. And they did all that without rolling physical golf balls in anyones direction.
Ynglet has now been officially announced. A game by Swedish Nifflas and Tripple Topping . Both Copenhagen based.
Described as a platformer without platforms. Featuring Nicklas's procedural reactive sound track.
Progress on DK project 'The Adventures of Gorm' By @Ronnie Ree at Ree Animation. About 3+ years in the making so far.
Described as "Darksiders meets Wonder Boy meets Rogue-Like. Created by a single Animator... "
As mentioned by @JesperSBKing of Retail Currently in Steam Early Access. Developed by a small DK 3 man indie team. Is becoming quite a little indie success story.
Also the simulation category is great to be in if you have a well made unique offer with the right appeal (especially to Germans ). So good job Freaking Games!
Upcoming Unexplored 2 - The Wayfarers Legacy.
Looks pretty cool! Played the first one a bit. Great game! Looks like they are really taking the sequel in a new direction.
Another DK release!
Former IOI guy (in the early days) Peter Fleckenstein from KriflE ApS is behind Mojo. A concept where Tinder-Like dating app meets Wordfeud-like gameplay. Following their first Wordfeud-like game 'Vortludo' in Esperanto.
Mojo, a possible brilliant concept! But let's see how things turns out. Currently only on 10+ GooglePlay downloads. So I hope they have some serious marketing money up their sleeve. That will be needed.
Looks cool! Physics based heist game. Very likely multiplayer.
And actually not sure why they went with Unity over UE4. They have a lot experience with physics driven UE4 development on Trailermakers. I know they are not stranger to Unity either. But it's an interesting decision.
And it's Broken Lines release day today! On Steam and GOG.
The 5th+ released game I worked on at PortaPlay after starting a couple of years ago. Also the biggest project so far at that specific company.
Personally expecting sort of okish magazine/gamesite reviews. Around the 7/10 mark. But let's see how things turns out. The pre-launch wishlising looks pretty good! So that's something. And the first user review is a 10/10.. so I plan not to look at that page ever again and stay with the memory.
