New game 'Cyber Rats' announced from Ree Animation. Now known as Outpost Games.

He has been doing a bunch of work on a 2D platformer 'The Adventures of Gorm' and some other side projects around racing games.

But guess the new thing and focus is on Cyber Rats now!

Casual release from Tactile Games. Simon's Cat Match!

Looks like it is a collaboration with a 'newer' studio Tactile Games UK.

Also looks like one is a series of releases that have been flying under my radar with titles like Simon's Cat Crunch Time, Pop Time and Story Time. The UK studio is pretty much the Simon's Cat studio.

Ratings are looking VERY good. 4.9 on both platforms!

Another Tactile (DK) title I missed is Makeover Match - Fashion Game. It has been out for a while now.

And across the board from what I can see in public figures the company and it's entire portfolio is performing well though with a lack of recent hits. The big hits are hard to land, but certainly still going strong!


Also found a couple of "secret titles" Mystery Manor Murders from 2020 that probably never made it out of soft launch? There only seemed to be a few updates.

The most "secret project" or you might say unknown project I found, is from a Tactile spinoff company dealing in more romantically themed games. Peach Perfect Games ApS was created in 2022 to handle this. One title has made it to release so far 'Match Stories - Romance Game'

Not really sure Peach Perfect Games ApS is still an active development studio though. Also linkedin seems to indicate actual development was not taking place in Denmark.

There is a new version of the old Painkiller game in the works. The original franchise was developed by People Can Fly.

This time developed by Polish Anshar Studio and being published by (DK) 3DRealms. Not sure how much of the original staff are involved in the project but it would be somewhat within the realm of possibility to think that some of the old talent could be potentially be on the project. Though much water has passed under the bridge.

Steam community comments are somewhat reluctant based on recent 3DRealms history etc. Game looks pretty slick though! Let's hope they make a splash!

The full reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2.
Looks like a neat package! Better everything and really interesting with the joycon 2s i mouse mode.
Also DK announcements Hitman and Bond will drop on the platform.



Update: Rumors are circulating that gameprices for Switch 2 games will go up to 80$ for digital and 90$ for physical copies... well... well.. that certainly puts a damper on the fun. Will probably mostly be for Nintendo first party flagship titles.

Speaking of motion.. this is Radical, they are doing markerless, >single camera< motion capture.

Just found it and wanted to share are I was really impressed by the results out of the box! Not perfect results but really good all things considered.
Good footage was provided by our animator dressed in mostly black on a well light bright background.

There is probably a million services out there but just stumbled upon this one. Where (sadly) the DK solutions like Rokoko Vision and Marionette failed >BADLY<. Radical just worked first run! Also.. cheap!

More games with tempest in the name.. Tempest Tower from DK Half Past Yellow has just released into Early Access today.

Observed they have signed a publishing agreement with a 'to me' completely unknown Chinese publisher, Wave Game.

Wishing the best! but of of the box the estimated wishlist numbers is sadly not looking über amazing. Lets hope the publisher and the quality of the game can give it a good push! Grats on another release regardless to the team!
