For our game MovieStarPlanet.com, we are looking for talented full-time AS3 and C# developers with a professional attitude and good analytical abilities. Your job will be to develop new features for our website and for our coming mobile app for iOS and Android. The job includes both writing AS3 code in Flash Builder for the client and writing server side code in C#, which communicates with a SQL Server database.

About us
MovieStarPlanet ApS is the company behind MovieStarPlanet.com, a virtual game and community for children aged 8-15. In a world of Fame, Fortune and Friends, each user designs his own movie star avatar, which can be used for creating small cartoon-like movies, chat and play games with other users. The game was launched in Denmark in 2009 and has since experienced an explosive growth.

Currently, the website is marketed in 10 European markets as well as the United States, and globally it ranks among the fastest growing virtual worlds for the target group. MovieStarPlanet ApS employs a staff of 70+ and is based in attractive surroundings at the commercial section of the IT University of Copenhagen.

About the job
Your job will be to develop new features for our online social game on the web and possibly for our coming mobile app. The job mainly involves writing AS3 code in Flash Builder for the client, but possibly also writing server side code in C#.

We have a highly complex and interactive game and the job involves working closely together with the other developers, giving you the opportunity to further develop your programming skills and knowledge about how to effectively make complex games. The job also involves working closely together with our game design team and our graphics design team.

About you
You must have professional development experience, preferably writing AS3 code, alternatively writing code in C#, Java or other languages. It is important that you are highly skilled, strive to produce effective code, have a professional attitude and good analytical abilities.

You must have a scientific education within software engineering with good results, such as an engineer, datalog, ITU or similar. You must be ambitious and able to work independently. If you have experience with game development it is a plus. If you are very creative and a good games designer it is also a plus.
