Stay awhile and listen, UX Designer with strong Graphics Artist skills
Are you the person who can make game/interactive experiences flow from a UX perspective and the UI/GUI graphics look spectacular while you’re at it - then please read on…
YOU AND TROPHY GAMES
Just around 1.000.000 users around the world play one or more Trophy Games titles every month - and that number will rise over the coming years. We strive to put Trophy Games on the map globally, with our own developed games and by acquiring game studios with great potential and synergies. For the coming journey, we’re looking for a person who can work across our game development teams and especially on our transport management franchise currently consisting of Airline Manager 4 and with Shipping Manager under way and more to come. For this position we’re particularly looking for an experienced person who can secure a smooth and super nice looking flow of gameplay experience in the UX/UI/GUI fields for the individual game whilst also tying the whole franchise together by providing visual consistency and greatness across the franchise.
The job is a full-time position ideally covered from our wonderful Copenhagen office.
VALUABLE AND IMPORTANT TASKS
We’re looking for the person who feel comfortable applying their creative talent equally between two main game experience pillars:
UX
You’re the natural end-user advocate in the development process insisting on ease of use and sense of achievement
You’re capable of presenting a lot of information in a way that makes it understandable, perhaps even engaging
You can prioritize which information to present when
You can make a data-centered game tell a story in the way it flows and reveals new areas/tasks/objectives
UI/GUI
You can make a UI functional and great to look at at the same time
You’re equally strong visually and functionally
You’re device savvy and know how to accommodate for different screen sizes and platforms
You have a sense of style consistency throughout a gameplay and across multiple titles
On top of feeling, more or less, comfortable with the above, you're a team player used to achieving your goals in collaboration with others and you’re not afraid to air your opinions and insights with your team members. Also, you’ll be working in and across teams with predominantly programming skills, so your role as end-user advocate is to be taken seriously. From a tools perspective you probably work with the full Adobe suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and others and as a bonus you have experience working with Vue (Javascript framework), React or the like.
WORKING AT TROPHY GAMES
You will join our great team of +40 geeky and creative professionals on a mission to make games people want to play for decades. We have an office filled with awesome people, lots of coffee (and beer!) and great vibes - which is basically all you need to create awesome games! To create games, we play games. We discuss and invent, and we’re pretty good at celebrating. Some of the other perks of working at Trophy Games are the location in the centre of Copenhagen, a flexible working schedule and the possibility to work from home when needed. This creates the perfect work-life balance and carve out time for your kids, friends and personal side projects.
We favor diversity and embrace individuality and different backgrounds. We strive to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where everyone is encouraged to be their authentic selves.
