Yesterday SpellRogue developed by the three guys strong Guidelight Games and published by Ghost Ship Publishing, launched from Early Access into release 1.0! Grats on the release to the team! Catch you a bit later today.
Successor from Playwood Project has launched their Kickstarter a few days ago!
It 'should' be a project that in theory would appeal to the boardgamey crowd on Kickstarter.. without being an actual physical boardgame. But the campaign is super sadly not off the the greatest start.
Rule of thumb is that reaching min. 20% funded on the first day of campaign launch should highted the chances of meeting the campaign goal significantly.
I spotted the followers count was not very high before the start of the campaign. Which is not a good sign, these things needs to be seeded with followers WELL IN ADVANCE to get the ball rolling on launch day.
It's not over yet! But some major PR push needs to happen!
Campaign goal is actually very modest and should in theory be obtainable! Though it is very low amount of money to make a huge change in production.
The gameplay video is very nice looking! Though it is not very good a introducing the player into the fundamental player fantasy and how and why we are playing the game. Also the video doesn't give that vibe of having the devs present and talk about what the game is all about to get that human connection.
Crossing fingers it will go really well! I wish the project ALL THE BEST! But gut feeling is rather cautions on the KS.
